Five charged with breaking into old college building
MILLBROOK – State Police have arrested five men and charged them with breaking into an old building on the Bennett College property in the Village of Millbrook, shortly after midnight Wednesday morning. When state troopers arrived, they found the five inside breaking glass.
Gurial Sandhu, 18, of Poughkeepsie, Mark Russell, 18, of Poughkeepsie, Danny Thackurdeen, 19, of Lagrangeville, Anthony Rispoli, 18, of Lagrangeville; and David Avery, 19, of Wappingers Falls, were all issued appearance tickets returnable in Millbrook Village Court. They were charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree and trespass.
Police also charged Thackurdeen with harassment in the second degree for allegedly threatening a woman at a gas station earlier in the evening.
